Once Upon A Time In China IV

After winning the lion dance competition, Wong Fei Hung (Chiu Man Chuk) and Wong Ki Ying are visited by a Chinese officer. The Chinese government wants to invite master Wong to represent China in a dragon dance competition against the Eight Western Countries. For the face of China, Fei Hung accepts the invitation.

Then there is a female occult clan called Red Lantern Sect who hates Western (similar as the White Lotus Sect in part 2). While protecting some innocent Westerns. Fei Hung causes some misunderstanding with the clan. The Westerns are graceful to him but even capture and try to execute Fei Hung. Fortunately, there is a good western father who steals the key and saves him. After escaping, Fei Hung needs to rescue his father and people from the clan and then enter the Dragon competition where every failure means death. As usual, master Wong manages to solve all the problem. The story ends when China falls under Western countries' capture.

There is no Aunt Thirteen here (where is she???). To substitute, there is an Aunt Fourteen and a beautiful girl from the Sect. Both of them develop love and respect to master Wong. He does return some of the feeling. Hmm!!! Anyway, the girl dies trying to save Aunt Fourteen and the Western father from her own fellows.

Comments: Although the story is not new (copy from part 2 and 3), the action is still great. The costume seems very nice to me. I think the funny Crab, Eagle,... dance is a good idea. Chiu Man Cheuk did a good job to replace Jet Li. But where is my favorite Aunt Thirteen (Rosamund)?

Anyone knows who acts Aunt Fourteen and the girl from the Red Lantern clan (Email me)? The girl looks very pretty.
